I trained as an Usui Reiki Practitioner due to the benefits I felt after receiving sessions myself. Due to my health, having ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia I found that this helps with many of the things mentioned below.  As a previous sceptic, I’m so glad I discovered this.

What is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese technique that helps with many ailments such as stress reduction and relaxation. The client receives reiki by laying down, and is administered by either the laying on of hands on the body or holding the hands just above the body. Unseen life force energy that flows through us and causes us to be alive can sometimes be low, and that is when we may become sick. When our life force is high, we are then happier and healthier, and reiki is all about bringing the energy levels of the body back into balance.

Potential health benefits of Reiki.

As mentioned, when our life force energy becomes low, is disrupted, weaker or blocked, health problems can occur. Imbalances in the body can be caused by a variety of things such as emotional or physical trauma, injury, negative thoughts and feelings, nutritional imbalances, problems in lifestyle and relationships, or simply neglecting oneself.

Reiki is a wonderful treatment as it helps to heal mental, emotional, physical and spiritual issues. It gives wonderful results!

By relaxing, and being less stressed, we can restore our bodies natural ability to heal.

Long term practice of reiki helps to restore the general condition of the body, opening the energy channels which then allows the body to deal better and more efficiently with stress and built up toxins. It helps us to cope better with anxiety and depression.

A person in good health can deal better with life’s challenges. It increases the bodies built-in defences which will bring renewed confidence and outward harmony which helps deal with every day situations.  It can also help the body to recover from illnesses and help long term conditions.

A Reiki healing session can induce an extremely comfortable state of being that can bring alteration in the clients consciousness.
